Maple Sage Latte

Brew Caffé Verona® and add a touch of maple syrup, cinnamon, and fresh sage for a latte you won’t want to miss.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

    tbsp Starbucks® Caffè Verona® Dark Roast
  • 6
    leaves fresh sage , chopped
  • 0.5
    cup skimmed milk
  • 1
    tbsp dark maple syrup
  • 1
    cinnamon stick
  • Maple sugar (optional)

STEP 01

Combine ground coffee and chopped sage leave. Once mixture is thoroughly combined, brew 1 cup (250 mL) of coffee.

STEP 02

Steam milk until warm and frothy.

STEP 03

Pour coffee into a tall mug and stir in dark maple syrup.

STEP 04

Pour steamed milk into coffee and spoon froth over top.

STEP 05

Garnish with a cinnamon stick and sprinkle with maple sugar (if desired).

 

 

TIPS

1 No need for a fancy steamer to make an amazing foam.
2 Pour milk into 1 cup (250 mL) mason jar and tightly secure the lid.
3 Shake as hard as you can for 30 to 60 seconds or until milk has doubled in volume.
4 Remove lid and microwave for 30 seconds or until steaming.
