STEP 1

Pour 200ml warm almond milk into your favourite mug.

This recipe also works well with dairy milk, but it’s not necessary if you’d like to make an entirely plant-based hot chocolate.

Add 5 tsp. Starbucks® Signature Chocolate 42% Cocoa Powder to the heated almond milk​

Stir it until all the powder has completely dissolved.​

A whisk makes it a bit easier, but you can also use a spoon or a fork.

Add whipped cream to the top of your drink. If you’re whipping the cream yourself, make sure it’s dense enough to float on top of the hot chocolate.​

If you’re looking for a completely dairy-free, plant-based drink, you can skip this step. Remember – you’re making this to fit your personal tastes and preferences. ​

STEP 5

Sprinkle the toasted almond shavings over the whipped cream. ​

They’ll add a wonderful texture to the final drink. ​
