Ever wondered how to froth milk with a whisk? Also known as a frothing wand, a well-wielded whisk can get you a fluffy batch of milk in no time.
Heat the milk to 60°C (140°F). Be careful not to let it boil.
A stovetop or a microwave is all you need to effectively heat your milk.
Pour the milk into the tall mug. Leave space for it to double in volume.
Place the whisk into the milk. Start whisking close to the mug’s base.
Whisk away! Whisk in circles for 15–20 seconds. When the milk starts to thicken, raise your whisk to just below the froth.
Carefully pull the frother out of the milk. The milk is done frothing once it has doubled in volume.
Don’t forget to switch off the frother before pulling it out of the milk.
